Vort Port International develops innovative solutions to solve problems in developing regions in the world. Our model is based on the following tenants:

Innovation and experimentation develops or redefine technologies applicable to high-need regions of the world.

Relationships and collaboration are necessary to build and institutionalize solutions.

Our projects should solve systemic problems and not just independent symptoms.

Vort Port International is a nonprofit, social venture incubator that seeks to build sustainable solutions and produce outcomes that will strengthen future initiatives. Though our projects will require initial investments by donors, our projects will have a financial component that will return financial resources to re-invest into future projects.

SCALING

Of the various methods to scale, our team has decided to create a mix to support organic organizational growth. This is done through:

Incubating projects that meet our mission under the parent organization until they launch. We then accept new projects to expand our portfolio.

Creating and nurturing affiliates and partnerships with institutions, individuals, NGOs, and companies.  If you would like to partner with our organization, please contact us.

Dissemination and education to engage locals to teach each other through participatory interaction determining their best solutions to meet their basic needs as well as understanding the whole impact of our projects and of their input.

Leveraging existing distribution channels and entry points so that our future projects have a higher chance of success.
